Sauce Ingredients
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes
- 2 cloves of crushed garlic
- Minced onion
- 1 T olive oil
- Salt, pepper, oregano, and basil to taste
Directions:
- Saute garlic and minced onion in olive oil
- Add crushed tomatoes and paste. Add crushed garlic. Let simmer while you make meatballs.
Meatball Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 2 tsp. sea salt
- Pepper to taste
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- ¾ cup gluten free breadcrumbs soaked in almond milk (or coconut or rice milk)
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 egg whites
- Italian spices
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together with hands.
- Form small balls and drop into sauce, cover and simmer for approximately 1 hour, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve over your favorite gluten-free pasta.
