I was proud to have my book, MS – Living Symptom Free, reviewed and critiqued by Kirkus Reviews, who are coined as “The World’s Toughest Critics.” I was very pleased to hear what the critics had to say about my book due to the amount of passion and hard work I put into writing it.
It is very reassuring to hear others agree with my words and realize the whole purpose of me writing my book. I seek to live by example. I want to become an MS patient that anyone with MS or affected with MS, can look up to. I want fear to be nonexistent in the minds of everyone affected with MS. Multiple Sclerosis is not a death sentence, nor should it be an excuse to stop living the life you love. My book conveys this with many examples and advice as far as exercises, nutrition, and even recipes that are MS-friendly.
After my main goal of eliminating fear from the minds of those affected with MS, I want those who read my book to be able to help themselves in at least one way. I strive to improve myself daily and I know that other MS patients can and will do the same. Whether it’s a new exercise or a new recipe I share with readers, I will fell I succeeded in my goal if they are able to improve their life with it.
I am excited about future opportunities to be critiqued by other top notch critics. I want as many critiques as possible so I can learn what can be improved and what readers enjoy the most. I aspire to be a resource, not only through my book, but also my Facebook page which has a heavy interaction volume of almost 14,000 fans.
