Benefits of Wheatgrass for Multiple Sclerosis

Wheatgrass is an extremely healthy substance as it contains over 90 minerals, particularly alkaline minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and sodium - and this is why wheatgrass offers great benefits and can help you to manage ms symtoms. Essential enzymes include protease, cytochrome oxidase, amylase, lipase, transhydrogenase and superoxide dismutase. Wheatgrass also has large amounts of Vitamins C, E, B and A. There are 19 amino acids, which are building blocks of protein. Additional health benefits of wheatgrass include:

  • Blood purification
  • Energy booster
  • Strengthens bodily tissue
  • Lowering cholesterol
  • Enzymes stimulate renewal of nucleic acid (RNA/DNA)
  • Reduces ms toxins in the blood that collects around joints causing inflammation and damage

Types of Wheatgrass

As freeze-drying will destroy a part of the enzymes in wheatgrass, many people grow their own. It can easily be grown in the home because from seed to grass only takes eight to 14 days if the climate is right. It can also be purchased in a concentrated powdered form at a health food store. The best way to consume wheatgrass is raw, organic, and cold processed.

Clinical Studies on Wheatgrass

  1. Wheatgrass has been found to offset the side effects of chemotherapy in a study completed on breast cancer patients.
  2. A "Quality of Life" wheatgrass study was completed for terminal patients who drank the wheatgrass, and it also prevented patients from needing a blood transfusion.
  3. A Preleukemia study found positive results for patients as well.
  4. Wheat grass has also been found to play an important role in creating healthier blood.
  5. Gastrointestinal conditions have shown significant improvement for those that consumed wheatgrass.

Other Benefits of Wheatgrass

The body becomes stronger as wheatgrass is consumed, which will improve mental energy as the body becomes stronger. People report feeling "more capable, smarter and having increased focus" when they regularly consume wheatgrass. It also stimulates metabolism and provides more vitality and stamina.

After an MRI i was diagnosed of MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. After years on medications, symptoms worsened with tremors on my right hand, numbness and tingling, muscle weakness and loss of speech. Fortunately last year, i learnt about Health Herbs Clinic and their Multiple Sclerosis alternative treatment ( ww w. healthherbsclinic. com ), the Multiple Sclerosis treatment made a great difference, most of my symptoms including tremors, weakness and others gradually disappeared. I improved greatly over the 6 months treatment, its been a years since the treatment, i have no symptoms. I have a very good quality of life and a supportive family!

After seeing numerous neurologists, I was given the diagnosis of MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS. I was given medication, which helped, but my condition was rapidly deteriorating. Ultimately, I learned about the useful MS-4 protocol at vinehealthcentre. com. This treatment has helped greatly with reducing my symptoms, it was even more effective than the prescription drugs I was using. My tremors mysteriously disappeared after the first month of medication, and I was able to walk better. Within 4 months on this treatment most of my symptoms has vanished. The MS-4 protocol is a total game changer for me. I’m surprised more people with MS don’t know it. This MS-4 protocol is a breakthrough
